Quantitative Science Studies: Some updates
In January this year, ISSI launched Quantitative Science Studies. This was the result of a conflict between the editorial board members of Journal of Informetrics and Elsevier, the publisher of the journal. From Journal of Informetrics to Quantitative Science Studies
On January 14, the resignation of the editorial board of Journal of Informetrics (JOI) was announced. There were fundamental disagreements between the editorial board and Elsevier, the publisher of JOI, about ownership, open access, and open citations.
