Institutional membership

Any institution (company or organisation) can become a member of the Society through paying Institutional Membership. Institutional dues are currently €250 per annum. Institutions can become a member by contacting the Secretary-Treasurer Wolfgang Glänzel.

Individual membership

This category of membership applies to individuals.

  • 1 year membership: Current dues are €50 per annum for individuals from developed countries and €10 per annum for individuals from developing countries (as defined by the UN).
  • 3 year membership: A 20% discount is applied if the membership fee is paid for at least 3 years at a time; that is, individuals from developed countries pay €120 and those from developing countries pay €24 for each three-year period.
  • Life membership: A one-time membership fee can be paid to provide membership for the lifetime of the member. This fee must be paid in full and is set at €375 for individuals from developed countries and €100 for individual from developing countries (as defined by the UN).
