Please note that cash payments can be done only in person to the Secretary-Treasurer of ISSI (Wolfgang Glänzel) at the next ISSI conference.

Membership benefits include the following:

Institutional membership

Institutions (company or organisation) can become a member of the Society through paying Institutional Membership. Institutions can become a member by contacting the Secretary-Treasurer Wolfgang Glänzel (wolfgang.glanzel[at]kuleuven.be).

Individual membership

This category of membership applies to individuals.

  • 1 year membership: current dues are €75 per annum for individuals from high and upper-middle income countries and €15 per annum for individuals from lower-middle and low income countries (as defined by the World Bank).
  • 3 year membership: current dues are €175 for individuals from high and upper-middle income countries and €35 for those from lower-middle and low income countries (as defined by the World Bank).
  • Life membership: a one-time membership fee can be paid to provide membership for the lifetime of the member. This fee must be paid in full and is set at €550 for all individuals.
  • Membership is calculated from the month of payment.
